One important distinction is the Europeans' seeming enjoyment of the rampant destruction of the sacred and and iconic olive groves. Those magnificent, centuries-old symbols of God's gifts to the region are among the most ancient and significant physical manifestations of the land in her entire 10,000 year history. Even the marauding crusaders did not destroy the ancient olive groves. When you destroy a 400-year old olive tree, you attack the land HERSELF! No indigenous person, and no Jew who lives by Jewish laws and Jewish values, and ethics could BEAR to do such a thing. It would be like tearing out his heart. The crime of destroying the olive groves BELIES the claim that the European settlers love the land. In addition, they appear the ENJOY this crime against the nature of the land. Take those people someplace where they are surrounded by cities of concrete, if not jail, THAT'S where they belong.
