Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 10 comments
The High Court can write the most humanitarian, uplifting and just verdicts, but in the occupied territories (and in Israel propr, when it concerns non-Jewish minorities) it is just the Civil Authority (i.c. the IDF leadership) that is free to do - or not do - whatever it likes. In the past, many High Court ruling have been ignored without any consequences. This time, too, we will see the just ruling of the High Court (a paper that Israeli ambassadors in the world can use for the propaganda of 'the only democracy in the middle east') and we wil see that the IDF doesn't care on iota. Nobody is going to change that situation because the IDF and the settlers rule the occupied territories, nobody else. In other words: total anarchy and state crime, while nobody in Israel seems to care.
