They want you to clean up the Persian-backed Shi'ites because they are Persian-backed and Shi'ites and less face it getting rid of Hezbollah just might make Lebanon viable. Diplomacy is on the slow track on purpose. Also, Hamas is on the outs. Mubarak cut a deal for Galit but Hamas central command in Damascus put the kibosh on it. That signaled to Egypt and Saudi that the Syrian/Persian axis trumped their influence.
