Why do you talk about the US going to war with Iran as if it involved committing ground troops in an invasion similar to what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan? If you have been paying attention the US will avoid such wars. Instead if necesary the US and Europe will destroy Iran economically with increasingly tough sanctions and destroying their oil wells. This will weaken their ability to move forward on developing nuclear weapons. However, the US now has 30 ton bombs capable of penetrating through 200 feet of hardened concrete and then exploding. It has planes capable of carrying two or three of such bombs. It can substantially damage Iran's nuclear capability. It has drones that are not controllable by Iran (in contrast to the one used to trick Iran) that will kill Iranian leaders. A clear message has been sent. And when they don't stop before his reelection they will feel the new might of the US. It will be initiated by November. Americans won't vote out an incument president during a war.
