If the interviewer has to ask her if she's Jewish, that sets the contect; she's secular; and escape from France. She married a man who became briefly famous, and mother'd a daughter who rode to parlament on her's father's then glorious reputation. Why does that make her someone worth publishing? and certainly not at this age. With all due deference to her longevity, possibly it would have been better to find a 'kinder' interviewer who could help her put herself in a more positive light. Extreme old age on the verge of the end passage brings even the greatest optomist to pessimism. Bib's father was also abused by a reporter in a similar way.
