Prosor is right that the Security Council should be concerned by Assad's shocking attacks on Palestinian Refugee camps, just as it should be by last month's massive nombing by Israel of Palestinians in Gaza. Of course we know that in both cases the Security Council can do little in the face of the veto wielding supporters of the perpetrators of these shocking acts. But the Security Council is right also to be concerned by the continuing land theft and human rights abuses by Israel in the West Bank. Prosor's attempt to change the subject suggests that he has no argument to justify Israel's actions.
