"Sovereignty cannot exist without authority". !!!! The very definition of a belligerent occupation states that it occurs whenever a foreign army assumes authority over a territory. Cipora-logic therefore insists that this statement be true: a sovereign state ceases to exist the the moment it comes under a foreign occupation because - obviously! - the moment that authority is seized by the occupier then sovereignty is extinguished. Correct, Cipora?
