The existance of Jesus has been questioned so many times although 1.4 Billion Christians believe in him and a similar number of Moslems believe in his existance. The existance of God is being questioned eceryday. People who question the Holocaust usually want to see the other sources, or to investigate further. Some question the six million figure, not the crime itself. Could it be five million??. Why is it a crime in many European countries to question the six million figure. To silence people out, you get those who could claim only 100,000 or even none were killed and neutral people could believe them, but in an open discussion, where everybody can talk, we could know the approximatet figure. 5 Million or six million doesn't redicule the crime, but silencing researchers does. Freedom of speach is the best part of democracy. Plato's Republic gives the allegro of the gave, the best tool for open mindness. If you have nothing to hide, debate and let them talk, don't shut them up.
