Ze'ev. For whatever reason, my reply did not appear here. I am hoping it was due to a technical glitch. The use of cluster bombs and phosphorus munitions by the IDF has been widely observed and reported in the international press, criticised by the UN, also ADMITTED by the IDF. The IDF line is that cluster bombs were used against military targets and that there are legitimate uses for phosphorus munitions. Regardless, these are causing civilian casualties contrary to international law. The consignment of munitions in transport from the US to Israel, which passed through Prestwick Airport in Scotland without proper authorisation, is listed as containing depleted uranium weapons. Nobody has to make this stuff up.
