1. No! The Torah calls Jews repeatedly to remember that they were once strangers in the land of Egypt and emphasizes that "strangers", or non-Jews, should be treated with utmost respect. Not to mention that in Genesis it says ALL MEN AND WOMEN were created in the image of G-d. This rabbi obviously does not understand the Torah. Someone much wiser than him once said: "What is hateful to you do not do to your fellow; That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn." Obviously, Ovadia Yosef is either not familiar with this, or he simply REALLY, REALLY needs to go back to the "go and learn" part before ever opening his mouth again. 2. No, definitely not. 3. I have absolutely no respect for this rabbi.
