What we have seen in recent years particularly during Netanyahu's coalition is that Israeli politicians have been shielding themselves from legitimate criticism by comparing criticism of Israel's ruling elite with anti semitism. With even an attempt to redefine what anti semitism is to include criticism of Israel's actions. Nick Clegg is right to point this out, and he will get quite a few votes in saying so. The good thing for Israel is that Nick Clegg will never be in a position to change the United Kingdom's policy towards Israel.
