    (1) In spite of the countless billions America has given Israel and all the political cover at the UN over the decades, Israelis don't think they owe America a thing. Israels attitude is and always has been "What have you done for me lately". (2) Americans may think that Israel wants peace. They don't. They want to preempt a peace by taking all the land needed for a Palestinian state. (3) If America is sincere about making peace, they will have to push and pull and drag Israel every step of the way. Israel will be kicking and screaming at every step. They will mashall their lobbies in America and will try to disrupt the American government in any way they can. This can't be done in two years. It can't even get started in two years unless America gets very tough with Israel very fast. For Israelis that claim it is the Palestinians that don't want peace, I think that I can speak for most of the world when I say "Yeah, right".
