I just glanced at your site briefly without any ad blocking software and now it is obvious why you had to put up a paywall. Consider 1) All of the big sites that started with aggressive paywalls are scaling them back. JPost, WSJ, Wash Post, I think, etc. They have seen the light, you do not increase revenue by limiting traffic, not to mention thousands of lost mentions on third party sites every day. 2) For Haaretz U.S. customers you should use a service like Commission Junction to fill ad space. They serve almost all the major retailers in America. Having seen your advertisements (however briefly) I can see why you are having revenue problems.
