aren't some of you guys blue-eyed believers! newageblues, - the admission changes nothing. palestine is defacto admitted to the UN decades ago, & the palestinian state is defacto there in some preliminary form since mid -90s. it's the issues that remain unresolved. there's no way to bypass the real negotiations leading to a real, final settlement of the conflict. the only thing this may change is giving israel some more legal leeway vis a vis the pals when trouble & violence erupts once more between the two. & some of the TBs here will have another wonderful round of debating what the legal obligations of the respective camps are & what constitutes a war crime & what not when killing each other's citizens. don't get fooled.
