Absurd article. I'm listening now to Netanyahu talk of continuing and expanding the operation. Reports indicate he and Barak have been working closely on the operation. The decision to start the operation was not the sole decision of either of them. these and other facts Israelis know well.. Bottom line: How much does Aluf Benn want to bet on this? I say that Netanyahu shares the credit if it s a success, and does not throw Barak to the wolves if it should not succeed. If I'm right, and he is wrong, maybe he should retire. Haaretz can hire me in his place as commentator. That (Benn's retiring, me taking over as commentator) won't happen. But maybe the readers will give Benn's thoughts the attention they deserve - not much, if any. If I'm wrong, I'll publicly acknowledge that Benn was right and I was wrong.

IfNotNow doesn’t deserve the support of left-leaning Jews
