Sir, it is well known for decades that Israel wants Jerusalem and al-Quds. The difference is that Obama spells out what all other US-Presidents put under the rug, i.e. that al-Quds has to be part of a peace deal between the Pals and Israel. The then and now PM Netanyahu had problems with al-Quds already in Sept. 1996 when The Jerusalem Post had an interview with the then Egypt. Foreign Minister Amr Moussa who complained that the Netanyahu government is expelling Palestinians from Jerusalem.
