After two years, he hasn't figured out that the old slight-of-hand game doesn't work any more; NONE of Israel's old ploys work any more. But he plods on like a mule wearing blinders, while international patience wears ever thinner. And he expects everyone to buy this latest ploy, when everyone in the world can see that's only meant to divert attention while settlement building continues. Not only will the Palestinians not accept it, but neither will the international community. They're not buying it anymore. They no longer feel obliged to look the other way while playing along with Israel's ruse. International concensus has settled on the approximate 1967 borders for the Palestinian state, and suggestions of anything less will only serve to discredit Netanyahu and Israel even further. The gig's up Bibi, and your continued insistence on skirting the issue will only delegitimitize Israel more than you've already done. It's time to accept what has always been the inevitable, and to focus on the territorial exchanges that will allow Israel to retain some of its larger settlements. It's also time to start setting the groundwork for close cooperation with the Palestinian state, for your mutual security and prosperity...something that will prove to Israel's benefit not only its relations with the Palestinians, but also with its regional neighbors.
