Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 4 comments
He is not a republican at heart. He is the leader of Israel and remembers the lessons from the 30's and 40's. How many deadlines have been missed concerning Iran? When the Iranian leader says Israel must be destroyed Netanyahyu remembers the time when Hitler was no taken seriously. Again there is evil obtainng the weapon to finish off the Jews. Again the West talks and negoiates and appeases. I read an interesting quote in an Iranian newspaper. The reporter wa asked how is it that the Jews in Israel are our enemies considering that they are people of the book. The answer was that they werent really Jews, that all the real Jews had been thrown out of Israel centuries ago. The people there are Europeons not Jews and they should go back to Europe. I thought the Jews in Israel and in an interesting situation. There are people that want to kill them because they are Jews, and people that want to kill them because they aren't Jews. In any even no one will help them except themselves.
