What a negative, tub-thumping debate. Judaism has evolved over the decades and survived; now that social change is so rapid, not to mention globalization, it is evolving rapidly too and will doubtless survive - serving as a light unto the nations ( a light - this does NOT mean superiority, but does mean a moral example). Whether there is a Divine Presence is another matter altogether, as He or She or It is rather shy and not prone to manifesting him/her/itself. The idea of one invisible presence to guide our moral behaviour is rather good though, isn't it?
