"The Indian was put onto "reservations` where they are still to this day." Well, no. USA eventually tried to do better. All native americans now have US citizenship, they can get jobs anywhere in USA, travel wherever in the world, buy or rent land anywhere. 400,000 of them prefer to live on reservations where they have their own laws. They can throw anyone they want off their reservations, but other americans can't legally throw them into their reservations. If Israel were to give Palestinians some land to be Palestine but also let them all be first-class Israeli citizens, it would be like USA with native americans. Of course, this relatively-enlightened approach came only after native americans had been largely genocided and they are currently only 1% of the population of USA. If Israel killed all but 60,000 Palestinians then it would not be too hard to be nice to those who remain. Please let's not follow US example.
