Howdy Natallie; Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. are stuck like bugs on flypaper in the Gaza Strip and they can't get out. For the past year, their rocket fire has resulted in 10 times the number of Palestinian casualties (most of whom are combatants) as Israeli casualties (most of whom are civilians). Their calls for revenge and increased violence invariably fizzle out with nothing out of the ordinary happening. The economic and financial squeeze limits the number of "freedom fighters" who can be maintained in the completely "liberated" Gaza Strip. And you say that Hamas is getting stronger due to the culling of their more experienced members? That's possible but not likely. Nobody is expecting the war with Hamas to ever end. It suffices to keep them confined to the Gaza Strip and to reduce their ability to attack Israel down to zero until hell freezes over.
