So, Nasrallah says that Hez-E-bollah would never have started the war (an admission) had he known about the scale and duration of the war? Well, then, when scale and duration became evident, well before the end of the war, why didn't he give back the soldiers? Or has he just thought about this on sober reflection? There are several interesting things about the statement. First and formost its a transparent attempt to avoid the blame that is just beginning to be visited on him for the death and destruction in Lebanon. Second, his analysis fails to comprehend the real problem. There is no doubt whatever that if Hez-E-Bolah was a true guerilla group and did not have 14,000 missels pointed at Israel, some of which it had previously used, the war wouldn't have started. Lebanese need to understand that Hez-E-bollah, the Lebanese goverment, Syria and Iran are to blame for their misery. Israel withdrew and did nothing at all to threaten Lebanon and the Lebanese since withdrawel.
