Nannette, The fact that it is forbidden, in the occupied territories, to sell land to Jews is a function of the situation, where the Palestinian population is getting squeezed from all sides. They live under Israeli Occupation and Israel's historical policy has been against the rights of the Palestinians to self determination and statehood. Once we end the Israeli occupation, hopefully, the Jewish settlers will remain in Palestine, live peaceably, pay taxes and own land. Moshe Arens, for once, is correct. It is completely racist for the Israeli state to forbid non Jews from owning property.
