This is a 1st step. Israel and israelis should understand exactly what they have done to the palestinians instead of denying. War is war, arabs certainly have responsabilities but hundreds of thousand of palestinians left their homes and could never come back. They have been treated like strangers while they tried to get their homes back. Thousands of cities and villages have been destroyed or emptied and renamed in order to populate the new jewish comers from Europe. Land, furnitures, money have been stolen. This is what the refugees issue is all about and this is what Israeli authorities have been denying all through these decades of propaganda and lies. This is what the palestinian struggle is all about and this is what Israel has been fighting shamefully. Before 1948 the large majority of the population was arab palestinian. Jerusalem, Yaffa, Haifa, Ramle Acre, Nazareth, Hebron...and hundreds of villages all across the region. We're not talking about 2000 years ago but 65 years ago ! it's time israelis open their eyes and realize that. Arab palestinians are on their land, no matter what. Israelis cannot do much about palestinian memory.
