It is always interesting to read about what the Palestinians have to do to "earn" the return of their land (1967 borders). The "existential threat" is always one of the Big Reasons for continuing the Occupation. Former Shin Bet officer Nissim Levy referred yesterday to Rabin's demand for quiet so the gov't could solve the problem. When Levy succeeded in reducing the terrorist threat to quasi-zero, the response was that there was no longer a reason to decide. As usual, Israel won't negotiate from weakness and doesn't have to when it feels strong. Heads Israel wins, tails palestinians lose.
