The Palestinians have done of great job of marketing the Nabqa. Being a refugee in the 20th century was not an unusual thing to be; there were millions of them. Most had to move hundred or thousand of miles away from their homes, learn a new language, adapt to an alien culture (and often a different climate), where typically they became a member of a minority community; many had to leave their immediate family behind. Almost all of the original Palestinian refugees ended up a few miles away, about 80% never left mandatory Palestine; they settled in the West Bank or Gaza; the rest ended up in Lebanon Jordan or Syria. They didn't need to learn a new language, or adopt to a different culture. Now of course it is traumatic and tragic to lose your home, lands and community and we should sypathize with the original refugees; but let's put it in perspetive. Now as to their descendants - the most brilliant part of the marketing camppaign is the Palestinians ability to convince many people around the world that the greatest tragedy that can befall a human is to not be able to live in the house your grandfather lived in - with all the tragedies and horrors that have happened to so many people over the last 100 years that's a pretty amazing feat. I don't know anybody that lives in the house their grandfather lived in - do you? The point is that Jewsish "refugees" should go to Israel only, and not the West Bank and Palestinan "refugees" should go to a Palestinian state and not Israel.
