"Will Israel Recognize E. Jerusalem, WB and Gaza as a Muslim State" Nobody is asking for such recognition, and certainly not us. Many people here are already upset by the mention of an 'official religion' in the draft Palestinian constitution, even though it mainly pertains to which holidays are recognized. But to go as far as declaring Palestine as a 'Muslim State' ? The majority of Palestinians would not support it, as we have always envisioned a secular entity. Oh - as for those of you who will undoubtedly remind me that the Islamist Hamas won the past elections: Yes, but Hamas got a 'plurality' of the votes, not a majority (i.e. the were below 50 percent of the vote) and most Hamas votes were anti-Fatah protest votes anyway, not pro-Hamas votes. And Hamas is less popular now than anytime during the past few years.
