Mullen is absolutely correct...Israel's Defense Minister has admitted that Iran is not an "immediate existential threat"...so, there should be time to pursue a diplomatic solution. Contingency plans for a US strike on Iran have been around for years...but honestly I don't foresee a US attack happening except in response to an Iranian attack on Israel.
