I love you a lot and I have voted for you twice. Please explain how a veto serves Israel's security! The whole world sees the naked truth now. Why is Israel continuing to build settlements in a territory the whole world (except the good old USA) agrees is occupied? It is blatantly obvious Israel is not sincere. They want all the land for themselves with perhaps some Indian-style reservations for the Palestinians. I say go for it. Facts on the ground are not likely to change for the Pals, but two things will surely happen. One is that the world will collectively reinforce the fact that Israel is occupying Palestine. Second, America's veto will waste any goodwill we may have garnered from supporting the people's revolts in the ME. We are giving up too much to perpetuate Israel's occupation. We are acting against our obvious self-interest! and , I believe, against Israel's self-interest.
