In my humble opinion, Israelis need to get off their fixation with demagraphy and think more about a country which maintains equal rights for all, in theory and in practise. Heck, look at the US, where our top general is an Arab (John Abizaid). It can be like this in Israel, once the conflict is resolved. Israelis, by now, should be confident in the Jewish character of the country. It is not under threat. Even if Israeli Arabs become 50% of the population in 100 years, the Jewish character of Israel will still be there. It is not going away.
