I do agree to everything, in your well thought article. What it comes to ,is that Israel have to make up its mind once and for all, WHAT does it want to do??. Will this Govt. pursue the Peace Process as per Road Map,/ the Saudi Peace Initiative, or The recent Madrid Initiative ? PEACE /SECURITY is what most ISRAELIS (60/70%) want, that is , end the illegal Occupation, give BACK the WEST BANK and Gaza, and move within the Armistice( Green) Line 67 Borders. There should be no problem for the Governments from both sides, to start talking about the final settlements, as this is what most of the ISRAELIS/PALESTINIANS are craving for. This Government is in a big dilemma, they want Peace but they also like to keep the settlements, the Private Settlers Roads, the Jordan Valley, the new WALLS/FENCES on the west bank, and lots of lands for future settlements projects. But keeping all these mean no more Palestine , thus Israel becoming a BINATIONAL entity.
