Do you take Lieberman seriously and if so why? I can only assume that he is being taken seriously because Israel has consistently chosen holding onto land over peace. Lieberman has no desire or interest in negotiating with the palestinians or any Arab country. He wants to turn the country into the Birobaizhan of the Middle East, turning it into a fortress, never integrated into the region. That is what it has to do with Segev. And for saying it he is attacked as being an agent of appeasement.
