Rabbinic human rights group T’ruah calls for transparency on donor money spent on settlements.17:48 08.10.15 | 1 comments
I would like to see this issue tested. I would like to see how much these men were motivated by perfidy, and how much a desire to teach a lesson to their nation for it's benefit. There is a difference between calling someone's bluff and seeking to destroy them. In the first case the intent is to have them destroy themselves. In the latter, one gives one's opponent a fig leaf of malice that can allow them to save some face from a grievous error on their part. Sometimes it is best to only point out the error and folly of an enemy. These MKs are not powerful, nor does it seem they have important connections, or any influence. It might just be best to laugh at a cheap political folly than turn that folly into a serious issue. Do not reward one's enemy. Especially NEVER give it the fig leaf of respectability. I would ask the MKs a simple question. "Did you schmucks accomplish anything?" Let them bathe themselves in Preparation-H until they shrink away to nothingness.
