Most native Christians in Israel descend from Aramaic-speaking Beduin (Nabataeans) who mass converted around the 4th century. The numbers of Jews and Samaritans that converted to Pauline Christianity (that is, the Helenistic 'multinational' non-tribal) form of Christianity, is extremely small.
