Tom Segev is of course correct in his evaluation of the Mashriki ignorant comments. And as he says, "The State Prosecutor's Office has meanwhile dissociated itself from Mashriki's remarks". So her bosses understand how wrong she is. But how is it possible that an attorney, trained in an Israeli law school, can display such a confusion between the interests of politics in the State, and its higher values? The answer is simple.
