    - By his refusal to consummate the victory of 1967... - By single-mindedly turning over Temple Mount to the Arab Wakf... - By integrating the Arabs of Gaza, Judea, Samaria with Israel and creating the current demographic and political "omlette"... - By being the main cause of the Yom Kippur 1973 debacle... - By being the main proponent of the so-called "Land for Peace" - in reality "Land for Worse Wars" - fallacy vis a vis the Arabs... He contributed more than any other mainstream Israeli leader - Shimon Peres comes a close second - to the current existential predicaments Israel finds itself engulfed with! If instead of Dayan, Yigal Allon had become Defense Minister on the eve of the 1967 war, the course of history would have been changed in Israel's favor. But the enemies of Israel - internal as well as external - will of course say that they prefer that Israel's reins were put in the hands of Dayan over Allon!
