Morsi sounded quite conciliatory to all factions within Egypt. The people of Egypt has achieved a great victory for democracy. While the process of democratization began 18 months ago it will continue well into the future. Tahrir square "has become a kind of popular parliament that can force its will on any Egyptian government" (Haaretz) . The people are in control, unlike the situation within the U.S. where Congress is owned lock, stock and barrel by the corporate entities. I surmise the same is true also in Israel. Americans have learned much from the Arab Spring Revolution---Occupy Wall Street, and We are the 99%---movements which are here to return governmental institutions to the people.
