We had a grand strategy, remember? It was: bring back the pofter in a kefiyyah from Tunis, give him and his thugs plenty of guns, turn them loose on each other and eureka! We're on the road to peace! Ok, ok. Didn't work. So we had another grand strategy: make an air force pilot chief of staff, use our army and our police to expell Jews from their homes and then blow up those homes and turn over what's left to the Gazans and eureka! We're on the road to peace again. Ok,ok. Didn't work. The Hamas got voted into gov. practically the next week. In the meantime, we could turn a lawyer into the highest power in the land and take a small-town mayor/labor union leader and put HIM in charge of the military! Whoops. That didn't work either. Gee, all these great ideas and NONE of them work! Maybe we need a GRAND STRATEGY again. Yeah, right.
