I know this was written with a bit of a tongue in cheek, but really, the mind set of secular Israelis ( life is too hectic already, don't need the aggravation) is what has led to the rabid groups getting their people to the polls en masse. They then go on to bully the Knesset into things that the same apathetic/relaxation needy non-voters to decry. Until the next vacation from the electoral campaign.
