I do not know the whole history of the Jewish ghetto in Poland, but I wonder how many Christians fought or were involved in some way to assist the Jews at the time. Did Christians join in any of the fighting or did they provide assistance? I think it must be remembered that Polish army did fight the invading Germans and they were defeated. The Polish people Christians suffering was great and in spite of their suffering and losses there were many who risked their lives to save Jews. Of course it must be remembered that all were Polish citizens, and within Poland as in Germany before Hitler, were valued citizens. The Holocaust issue has special meaning to Jews and I would personally accede to their wishes to have only their monument in the place they consider a holy place.
