It is idolatry to consider the land as holy in itself. A people makes htemselves holy by serving God. There is nothing intrinsically holy about the soil of any particular place. Thus, invokling God to protest the return of "Jewish land" or "land holy to Jews." is, essentially, idolatry. To follow up this thought, read the essays of Yeshayaho Leibovitz.
