#1 - Nobody mourns the Lighthouse of Alexandria, also an amazing building by all historical reckoning. It was the special relationship there; of knowing you were in G-d's presence that is being mourned. Not the building. #2 - Read the 2nd to last paragraph in the rabbi's writing. You have missed the entire point of Tisha B'Av. Besides, who is wise? He who learns from all people, says the Mishna. And yes, Jews do control Israel and have political and security control over the Temple Mount; religious control you can blame the chief rabbis and Moshe Dayan - it had nothing to do with the Reform and Conservative movements. #3 - I fail to see how the Temples being destroyed (not to mention the other tragedies) having anything to do with communism (or atheism for that matter). Last time I checked it was sinat chinam that destroyed us; something that apparently we still need to work on. 4 and 5 - beautifully put. Amen brothers.

The close relationship between Einstein and Freud, relatively speaking
