Misha while I think that the makers of the series have tried to undertake a monumental work in a rational, albeit emotional manner, perhaps Michael's post does have a point. here in France, there are seemingly endless television programmes about Jews and Jewish problems - on and on and on. I have a higher tolerance/interest than most (being Jewish) but even I find myself sighing "oh, not again ...". perhaps if such programmes did not try to make the audience "suffer", but tried plain hard facts, then the message would be more effective.
