An attack on Iran would effect a lot of countries. If you made a list of the thousands of effects that could be expected from a strike on Iran most of them are negative and the net is extremely negative. Part of Israel's future survival, if it is to survive, will involve using the new Palestinian state to modify its relationship with Islamic countries, including Iran.
