In my humble opinion, the evacuation of Gaza is more of a military move than a political one. I do not believe that Mr. Sharon would play politics with the lives of the very people he encouraged to settle in the Land. He is still more of a military man than politican. Once his people are out of harms way, and Hamas, or Jihad Islami, or Al-Qaeda concentrate their forces in the vacuum left behind, Sharon will not hesitate to strafe the area now known as the Gaza strip with enough fire power to wipe it off the map. With all due respect, He is too old to have much of a political future anyway. His legacy will not be a political one, again he is a military man.
