It does have to do with Islam AND Zionism because believers from both sides are doing what they're doing in the name of religion. (so they want the whole land Islamic or Israeli/Zionist property). But there's also the secular Palestinians and Israelis who approach it from a humanitarian and International law point of view, which is the rational way forward in my opinion. But Miggy another point to keep in mind that after the failure of the secular momvements of the 60's, there was a surge of Islamic fundamentalism which has reached a point where a lot of the terrorism around the world happens in the name of Palestine. Bottom line: its not so black&white that either IS religious or absolutely NOT religious.
