George Bush's chickens are coming home to roost. The Turks are poised to invade northern Iraq -- the "peaceful" Kurdish zone, home to terrorists attacking Turkey. An Israel-Syria war would surely include another hot Hezbollah summer for Israel and Lebanon (which would be doubly interesting due to the international "peace keepers" who would be caught in the middle). Southern and central Iraq will be hotter than ever as increasing violence in the previously fairly peaceful south shows. And what of Iran? Will Bush launch military action against its nuclear installations as many predict? (It's said that he feels something must be done before he leaves office, and there are all those carriers and missile ships he's sent over there.) This writer predicted in the summer of 2001 (before 9/11) that historians would regard George Bush as one of the worst ever US presidents and that people who voted for him would come to hate him. Well. . . We'll see . . . .
