Michelle, I see you enjoy history. Tell me please, do you think that the fact that Israel, unprovoked, and not attacked, unilaterally bombing the Egyptian air force, destroying 60% of it's military aircraft, on the runways in Egypt, might have something to do with why Jordan "attacked" Israel, as you put it. The US had a similar sneak attack on it, called Pearl Harbor! I beg you Michelle, check this link in wikipedia, and see who, and how the 1967 war got started. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_war Before you get all proud of how Israel triumphed, consider the fact that it is duobtfull it would have won, in a fair battle. Like Japan, it depended on subterfuge, and started the war with a sneak attack, that was not provoked! This, allowed it to destroy Egypt's airforce, the same as the Pacific fleet was destroyed at dock, by a sneaky ambush. Most Japaneese today, are ashamed of Pearl Harbor. Why is Israel so proud of the 1967 war and the land it got them (Illegally, per UN)
