Thank you, Michael for your insight. I too feel there is a strong parellel. Also the closse alliance between religion and nationalism when combined with an inculcated sense of victimhood. This sense is growing in Israel among wider and wider segments of the population. The more they sense that they can no longer defend their occupation in the international community the more critical it is to demonise the international community, see it as the enemy. It is in this context that these proponents of the Serbian solution in Bosnia or Kosova will call you and any critic an anti-semite. It goes with the territory, Just know that under that false allegation therre are some remarkable individuals, Presdident Jimmy Carter among them. Thats good company to keep.
