I called you anti-"Zionist"; there's a world of difference. Now, being a Zionist and a "Zionist" myself, I feel I can tell you a few things about Zionism. Zionism did not finish its job once Israel was founded. It was the Zionist ideology that made the new State of Israel a refuge for Jews all over the world. It was because of Zionism that Jews camje, and still come, to Israel - from the Arab and Muslim countries where they were second-class subjects (not citizens), from Russia and Eastern Europe, where they were persecuted (one of my daughters-in-law came here from the crumbling Soviet Russia); from Western Europe and the Americas. Israel absorbed and still absorbs them. Look at the cities of Ashdod and Netanya, for example, with their large populations of North African and Russian origin. Shall I tell you more about the continuing tasks of Zionism? I do not include the settlers - they are a parody of Zionism.
